Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Datanode needs to provide accounts, isolated workspaces, security checks and support.
Using Datanode requires processing essential account and security data as described below.
1. Scope and controller
This Privacy Policy applies to the Datanode website, panel, Telegram bot, documentation and related services.
The Datanode service administrator (“Administrator”) acts as the controller of personal data processed for operating the service. Questions and requests may be sent through the official Telegram bot.
2. Data we process
We process only the information needed to operate, protect and improve Datanode.
- Account data: username, password hash, account status and security settings.
- Telegram data: Telegram user ID, username, display name, avatar, animated avatar where available, verification status and bot interaction history.
- Security data: sign-in time, IP address, user agent, authentication events, confirmation attempts and session identifiers.
- Workspace data: files, project structure, commands, domains, selected templates and service configuration created by the user.
- Technical data: cookies, locale preference, diagnostic logs, request metadata and error information.
- Support data: messages and materials voluntarily provided when contacting support.
3. Why we use data
- Create and maintain an account and enforce the one-account-to-one-Telegram binding.
- Authenticate users, deliver confirmation codes and security notifications.
- Provide Files, Editor, Terminal, Domain and other sandbox functions.
- Prevent abuse, investigate incidents and protect users and infrastructure.
- Respond to support requests and communicate material service changes.
- Improve reliability, usability and performance using aggregated diagnostics.
- Comply with applicable legal obligations and valid government requests.
4. Legal basis and consent
Data is processed to perform the agreement with the user, with the user’s consent, for the Administrator’s legitimate security interests, and where required by law.
By selecting the consent checkbox and continuing to use Datanode, the user confirms that this policy has been read and accepted.
6. Storage and retention
Account and workspace data is retained while the account is active and for a reasonable period afterward when needed for security, recovery, dispute resolution or legal compliance.
Security logs and confirmation records may be retained for a limited period. Session cookies expire automatically or are removed on sign-out. Backup copies may persist until the normal backup rotation completes.
7. User rights
Subject to applicable law, a user may request access, correction, export, restriction or deletion of personal data, and may withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
A request must be sent through the official Telegram bot. The Administrator may request identity confirmation before acting on it. Some data may be retained where required for security or by law.
8. Security and user responsibility
Datanode uses access controls, password hashing, encrypted connections, session protection, Telegram verification, optional Authenticator codes and sandbox isolation.
No system can guarantee absolute security. Users must protect access credentials, recovery codes and project secrets, and must immediately report suspected unauthorized access.
10. Changes and contact
This policy may be updated when the service, law or processing practices change. The current version and effective date are always published on this page.
Privacy questions, requests and complaints may be sent to the Datanode Administrator through the official Telegram bot.
